This blog came about after finding it really difficult to find good, honest reviews about campsites and finding it difficult to get ideas for things to do in the more rural areas of Scotland. My partner and I have been camping around Scotland for 5 years, firstly in tents and more recently in our campervan, we now also have our dog Ozzie that comes along on our adventures. With Scotland becoming more and more popular as a tourist destination, especially for camping, it is becoming more unpredictable with what you can expect in each campsite. Reviews can vary so much, and TripAdvisor can be a total minefield! I'm hoping with this blog I can give a more in depth , real life review of things and hopefully help some people along the way.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. At the end of the day I'm doing this blog in the hope to help make at least one persons trip to Scotland a bit easier, so any suggestions, campsites you'd like reviewed or questions you'd like answered please don't hesitate to get in touch and I will do my best to help.
